We are so pleased to let you know that she has finally been able to poo!
As you can see, the size of her feces was enormous.
The veterinarians checked, and she likely has no teeth left whatsoever and her GI tract is not working as well as it should.
She has a rectal ulcer due to the size of the poo, and is being treated for this. She is also still dehydrated but has started drinking by herself. Her bloodwork also came back, and everything is OK.
She will be kept at the hospital until her ulcer is healed, she is not dehydrated anymore and she can poo well.
They expect she might be able to come home on Monday.
Together with the vets we will work on an improved diet plan, keeping in mind she has no teeth left.
