After being constipated for 6 days (a common problem in older elephants) and spending a week in the wildlife hospital, today Malee was brought back home by หน่วยสัตว์ป่า ม.เกษตรศาสตร์ กำแพงแสน - Wildlife Unit, Kasetsart University/ Kamphaeng Saen wildlife hospital.
We will keep in touch with the professor over Malee's health and digestion, but the vets have decided that her health was good enough for her to go home.
Of course, no one was more pleased with this than Kammoon, who has been waiting for her return every day.
As you can see, Kammoon let Malee know how much she was missed, and did not leave her side anymore
A huge thank you to Kampaeng Saen Wildlife Hospital for their amazing care.
